Plastic sheets are made of polyester resin reinforced with fiberglass, and provide the best solution for all kind of translucent enclosures. It is important to maintain the high light transmittance that this product initially has all over its useful life; Leaves can be up to 6m. lenght and also can have different thickness, color and profile such as flat, corrugated or trapezoidal.
Translucent plastic sheets are made of fiberglass reinforcement impregnated with unsaturated polyester resin which contains 10% in weight of methyl methacrylate and 0.2% in weight of ultraviolet light absorber (0.5% if a self-extinguishing resin like Heltron 197 is used instead). The ratio of resin to fiberglass reinforcement is 2.5 : 1, that is to say, 70% of resin and 30% of fiberglass. An ABT-Surface veil of 28 g/m2 is incorporated on one of the sides of the sheet. The veil is impregnated with 150 g/m2 of the resin mentioned above and a 12 micrometre Maylar polyester film. This surface is perfectly identified by our label.
